The one thing

Every morning when you wake up there are many tasks staring at you. Even when you have planned your day in terms of having a to-do list or priority list, you will still be exposed to many things you could do. 

When you open your computer you may see a pop-up asking you whether you want to update or not. The interruptions list continues including work and family members, all wanting a piece of your mind. The end result will be that most people succumb to the interruptions in one form or other. 
 
Instead of worrying about finishing all the many things, if you focus on one most important thing that you need to do and invest all your time to complete that task, an amazing thing happens. You generate so much positive energy with the completion of that one very important task. With this renewed energy, you will zoom through the rest of your list pretty quickly.
