I was in Puerto Rico just after Hurricane Irma and just before Hurricane Maria. This really has me thinking about how we often take our health and safety for granted.
The islands near Puerto Rico were vastly devastated by Hurricane Irma and Puerto Rico is currently being destructed by Hurricane Maria. Combine this with the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that just hit Mexico – leaving at latest count almost 250 people dead – it is a wake-up call for all of us.
We take our health and safety for granted. Every day that we are safe and sound can be the happiest day of our life if we choose to make it so.
