Sitting on a sofa sipping coffee and not doing or thinking about work is a rare moment for most A-type business personalities. The only other time this happens is hopefully when they meditate or pray (if they practice this), otherwise, it is constantly thinking about work for them. It is difficult to switch off for A-type personalities!
However, all of us A-type need to switch off. Once when I was in Cape Town after going through several beaches and still thinking about work came to a spot; I don’t quite know when that spot was, but my mind wandered away from work and I had some of my best ideas of work when that happened.
The message for me was sometimes you have to shut down to speed up!
