Reality or Illusion?

Writing a journal of your feelings, learnings, efforts or spending can not only be revealing, but actually take your game in each of these areas to the next level. You have probably heard about journal writing many times, and even tried doing it for a little while here and there.

Writing creates clarity and enhances accuracy; it moves you towards the reality of your life as opposed to living in the dream world of illusion.

Most people think they know what’s going on with their time, focus, feelings and money. However, most are way off. Try to record where your time goes, even for a day, and you will be shocked at how much time gets wasted. Similarly, record where you spend your money and you will be surprised at how much you actually spend. Record your focus (or lack thereof) and you will get a rude awakening on your core priorities. When it comes to feelings, you may be burying them deeply because you don’t want others to know who you really are, but in the process, you are also unable to know yourself!
