My best friend, life partner, and wife, Farzana, passed away peacefully at 10:43 AM on Sunday, June 15.
My children Sahar and Tawfiq, including her brother and sister and their spouses were all by her side at that time.
I am very grateful to have known her for approx 40 years and married for approx 38.5 years.
All my work and service I give credit to her – she was a pillar of my children and my life. I thank God for blessing me with her presence and commitment. I also truly appreciated her friendship, love, and unconditional support!
My daughter Sahar and my son Tawfiq conveyed at Farzana’s celebration of life: “Mom, it’s still impossible to accept that you’re gone. So instead, we hope and believe you’re living vicariously through all of us. We hope you’ll visit us physically as well in the form of a ray of sunshine, a gust of wind, or even a little bird that sits on our shoulder while we’re mourning.”
Best, Azim
