Make it a big deal

When something good is happening, make it a big deal, don’t just let it be.
If your team is performing well, make it known to them and make it a big deal. If you do, you invite more good things to happen. Everyone likes to be appreciated and noticed for the good work they do. When they are noticed and appreciated–they work harder.
If your children are performing well or behaving well, make it a big deal and you will notice more good behaviour and performance.
Unfortunately, many leaders and parents make a big deal of things that go wrong, inviting more of these negative outcomes.
How about you?
