Innocent lives

Yesterday whilst speaking in Calgary, I met a couple who had lost their 26 year old young son a couple of years ago.

Hearing the story from the father was heart breaking. Although the couple haave strong faith and seem to have accepted the fate, the pain and the memories seemed vivid and painful.

When you hear such stories, all of your challenges seem to pale in comparison.

Recently, we were greeted with the horrific deaths in Nairobi. So many innocent people died, from 2 year olds to 78 year olds. There is so much unnecessary violence all over the world.

Seeing young innocent people die with no warning, makes us realize that there is no certainty in life.

Every day is precious and a gift. All we can do is cherish the day and do what we can to promote peace, love and giving in the world!
