My wife emailed me this morning to say I had been billed $ 36 a month plus tax for the past six months entering a skilled based competition to win a free ipad. I had not subscribed to any skilled test quiz to win an ipad?!
I had two choices. To be upset about the news or address the issue. I choose the latter and sent an email requesting a refund. I got an acknowledgment response almost immediately. The problem is not resolved but at the very least, attended to.
Later during the day I had an important meeting with my publisher. However it started to rain heavily and there was flood in some areas in Mumbai. My cab was stuck in traffic and I was running late for my meeting. I had two choices. To get upset or text my publisher that I was running late. I choose the later and caught up on a lot of outstanding work (sending emails, texting, phone calls) whilst in the cab.
Everyday we face choices in our life. As you choose, so goes your day!
