Before you go to sleep at night, write down three priorities you would like to accomplish the next day. If you completed these three priorities the next day, you would feel terrific at the end of the day. Try your best to do these three things as early as possible during the day. Examples of these priorities include relationship building, “fire” prevention, planning, implementing systems, professional development, physical exercise, or reading important material. Focusing on these activities leads you to perspective and balance. By not attending to these priorities, it usually results in stress and burnout. By completing three key priorities every day, you will complete fifteen priorities every week, sixty every month and over seven hundred every year!
