When you are truthful you know it. Other people’s opinion does not not change the truth.

If you care about other people’s opinion more than you care about the truth, you will end up a loser. Sooner or later you will find that you cannot control other people’s opinion. You may notice that sometimes you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t.
