Seek significance over success

I have noticed around the world that people who spend their lives chasing typical ideals of success end up realizing that it is “significance” or meaning that they truly seek.

Pablo Picasso once recounted, “My mother said to me, if you are a soldier, you will become a General. If you are a monk, you will become the Pope. Instead, I was a painter and became Picasso.”

Finding your genuine purpose may mean following your heart to be your truest self, rather than chasing titles or other people’s goals.
