Life Mission

Rumi implies that we were born to fulfill a particular purpose in our lives. In turn, we were blessed with a unique gift—the ability to accomplish that purpose. Just as a honeybee is born to make honey and is blessed with the necessary traits to do so, so too are we.

This purpose is entrenched in us before we are born physically. However, when we entered the world, we are attracted to the “toys” in life. They dazzle and tempt us, and we gradually become lost in their illusion. We become comfortable with worldly temptations and forget our mission and purpose.

We spend our days and nights working hard to accomplish a million and one things, but we have to remember that, if we do not perform the purpose we were born to carry out, our mission is incomplete. If we perform this one task, we have done all.
