Getting Away

When you get far away from your work place and try not to think about work, you usually end up getting some great ideas. A similar thing happens when you meditate. In meditation you strive to remain silent voiding all worldly thoughts.
The lesson is to periodically get away from familiar settings so unfamiliar and sometimes brilliant ideas give birth. In familiar settings you tend to do the same things, and usually clutter around the same thoughts. Rarely, you experience breakthroughs.
I have been away for two days in Whistler doing hardly any work. However, the one hour that I did do work (when some brilliant thoughts creeped in), was more productive than two days work!
