Selfless, not Selfish!

The world may appear to have become more selfish and self-centered, however, one forgotten area around the concept of self is quiet self-time.

Nowadays it’s evident there is always a huge “To Do” list that needs our attention. And just when we have a spare hour, and seemingly nothing to do, we create yet another new “To Do” list, avoiding the opportunity to use it as quiet time.

Having quiet, uninterrupted time to ourself – phone turned off – can feel like an eternity. However, we tend to forget that this peaceful time can make us more creative, calm, and even more connected to our inner being. In this state, paradoxically, we become more giving to others.

Carving quiet self-time is therefore not selfish, but rather selfless!
