My parents were amazing role models – selfless, giving, caring! Their unconditional love came through in everything they did, which has inspired me to emulate them. Among their many teachings was an encouragement to seize each and every day. Carpe Diem!
They both passed away recently. Yesterday would have been their 64th anniversary and a reminder for me to treat every day like it’s my last, given life’s unpredictability.
A special day can be an anniversary, a birthday, a New Year, a holiday or the 1st of each month. Or as my parents would say, “Why not every single day that you are alive?”
