The Gift of Time!

Time is life and life is time. Your life is measured by the number of breaths you take. Every breath reduces the inventory available to you. Time is yours. It is a great gift. To get the maximum benefit from it, you must reflect on how to spend it and how to make appropriate choices. The way you spend your time can create either balance or imbalance. Don’t wait for a chance to nudge you toward your destiny. Choose the destiny you want, and use your time and choices to take you to it.

If you are like many busy people you probably feel that your biggest challenge to achieving balance is lack of time. If you think you don’t have enough time, you’ll act in harmony with your thoughts, and your thoughts will become your self-fulfilling prophecy. We all have 24 hours every day – 86,400 seconds to spend on the things we value. That’s lots of time. If you think you don’t have enough time, you need to examine the way you’re spending your time. How you spend your time is a choice you can make.

Chronos is the Greek word for time as we measure it by clocks and calendars.  Kairos is the Greek word used in the Christian Bible to indicate a fixed or definite period – an opportune season or a critical time. To find balance spend more of your life in Kairos instead of just Chronos.
