It is how you Finish!

Before going to bed, write down three things you want to complete the next day, which if you complete, will make your day a Wow! Also, start your day with the hour of Power – 20 minutes of exercise, 20 minutes of meditation, and 20 minutes of reading something uplifting!

After completing your hour of power, give yourself a head start and get cracking on your three most important to do items.

If for some reason you have a poor start to the morning, don’t panic. Regroup at midday with an uninterrupted meeting with yourself, and plan the rest of your day to ensure you complete the three listed items you had planned to complete from the previous night.

This approach will lead you to finish your day strong. Because, at the end of the day, what counts is not only how you start, but also how you finish!

Some years ago, I was in Paris where I conducted a day-long session, then had a dinner meeting at a client’s house. With my schedule being packed, I was unable to watch the live champions league final between Bayern Munich and
Manchester United (the club I support). Knowing this, I had planned to watch the whole game on tape. As I entered the house, the game was playing on TV and my eye caught that 90 minutes had gone and the score was Bayern Munich (1) Manchester United (0). I believe we were now on 3 minutes extra time. So I decided to watch the final 3 minutes where Manchester United scored 2 goals and won the Champions League, plus the treble —meaning, they won the English premier league; FA Cup, along with the Champions League all in one season. It was a milestone moment as it was the first time ever in their history. The last three minutes made all the difference!

The moral: It is never over until it’s over!!
